A-B has a new Benefits Portal for 2023, which means you get to enroll through two different portals.

Please follow the steps below within your 30 day new hire window to enroll in benefits for 2022 and 2023.

  1. Enroll in 2022 Benefits
  2. Enroll in 2023 Benefits
  3. Confirm 2023 Benefits (after January 1st)

Enroll in 2022 benefits as soon as possible

If you want to enroll in A-B benefits, please make your 2022 benefit elections as soon as you can, making sure to enroll within 30 days of your hire/start date. We recommend enrolling in 2022 benefits as soon as possible to ensure you receive your ID cards in a timely manner.

Once you enroll in 2022 benefits, coverage will be effective day one.

The 2022 Benefits Portal autosaves your selections as you go through the enrollment process.

Once you complete your enrollment process, click “My Current Benefits” and "My Future Benefits" in the top bar to review.

Enroll in 2023 benefits

Please enter the 2023 Benefits Portal and submit your 2023 elections within your 30 day elections window (within 30 days of your hire/start date).

If it is your first time logging into the 2023 Benefits Portal, you will need to Register for an account.

Are you eligible for Vacation Buy and you want to purchase 2023 vacation days?

Vacation Buy is only available during Annual Enrollment (until 11/18 at 11:59pm CT), so please make your 2023 vacation buy elections during Annual Enrollment if you wish to buy vacation.

After January 1, 2023, if you want a year-round resource for your benefits, check out the EmpyreanGO App from Apple's app store.

What should you do if you have a 2022 Life Event?

All 2022 life events must be submitted in the 2022 Benefits Portal - whether you get married, divorced, have a child, or experience any other qualifying life event.

If you are eligible, are hired after 6/1/2022 and you enroll in an A-B Medical Plan, you will automatically unlock 2022 (prorated) and 2023 Flex Credits. If you don’t enroll in an A-B Medical Plan, A-B does not reward you with Flex Credits.
