Eligible for Pre-65 Medical?
Start by registering for a Benefits Portal account.
Please don't forget to enroll in retiree medical within 30 days of your retirement date in the Benefits Portal!
Pension and 401(k)
Contact your plan administrator for information on your retirement benefits.
Please note: some plans may require up to a 2 month advance notification to start payments. If you don't notify the plan administrator 2 months before you stop working, your payments will not start immediately when you retire.
Retiree Without A-B Health Coverage?
Consider these health coverage options:
Spousal Health Coverage
If you have a spouse with coverage, you may consider enrolling in their plans. Usually this must be reported as a life event within 30 days of your loss of coverage.

Health Insurance Marketplace
Individuals who lose job-based health coverage qualify for a special enrollment period to enroll in a Marketplace plan outside of the annual open enrollment period and may select a plan within 60 days of losing job-based coverage (either 60 days before or 60 days after).
