What is Legal Assistance?

MetLife Legal Assistance offers you, your spouse and your dependent children unlimited access to a network of attorneys for covered matters - in person, by phone, or by email, whichever works best for you. It can help reduce the cost of legal services.

When can you enroll in it?

MetLife Legal Assistance is offered to eligible employees during Annual Enrollment and after experiencing a Qualifying Life Event. Life events can be submitted in the Benefits Portal.

How much does it cost?

The cost is $17 a month to cover you, your spouse and your dependent children.

We're not a huge fan of waiting periods, deductibles and claim forms. If you enroll, you won't have to deal with any of those things when you use a network attorney for a covered matter.
